Court orders DNA tests of militants



A Dhaka court yesterday ordered desoxyribonucleic acid tests of the militants concerned within the ugly Dhaka restaurant attack on July 1.

Metropolitan jurist Md Nur Nabi passed the order once Counter act of terrorism and multinational Crime Inspector Humayun Kabir affected a plea during this regard.

In the plea, the police official aforementioned the desoxyribonucleic acid identification of “six attackers” was necessary for future investigations.

On July 1, armed gunmen stormed into porous craftsman shop on Road-79 in Gulshan-2 of Dhaka. They killed twenty hostages and 2 law enforcement officials within the 12-hour-long military blockade.

The stand-off finally over once army commandos stormed the café around 7:40am successive day, killed “six suspected terrorists” and reclaimed thirteen hostages.

One of the six was later known as AN worker of the edifice, however  police say he helped the militants.
